Family Friendly Action PAC Launches New Campaign in Arizona to Support Sen. Mark Kelly’s Reelection

Family Friendly Action PAC Plans to Spend Mid Seven Figures to Support Sen. Kelly’s Reelection in 2022

PHOENIX, Arizona – As reported by Politico this morning, the Family Friendly Action PAC announced the launch of an independent expenditure campaign in Arizona to support Sen. Kelly’s reelection next year. Family Friendly Action PAC focuses on engaging voters around care issues, including paid family and medical leave and affordable elder and childcare, key elements of President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better plan.

Family Friendly Action PAC is planning a mid seven figure independent expenditure to reelect Sen. Kelly that will include field conversations with tens of thousands of voters and paid communications to hundreds of thousands more.

Joe Wolf, an experienced Arizona Democratic strategist, has been hired to lead the campaign. Joe currently serves as the State Director for Family Friendly Arizona, a project of Family Friendly Action Fund, which is a campaign to build grassroots support for the care issues in President Biden’s Build Back Better plan.

“Reelecting Sen. Kelly is critical to maintaining a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate and ensuring federal lawmakers prioritize the issues that matter most to Arizona families,” said Family Friendly Action PAC Arizona State Director Joe Wolf. That’s why Family Friendly Action PAC is making this historic investment to support his campaign. Passing the Build Back Better package is key to the case we will make to voters that Sen. Kelly has delivered meaningful support to working families across Arizona.”

In 2020, the Family Friendly Action PAC spent almost $18 million on a voter contact program in support of Joe Biden and U.S. Senate candidates that spanned Wisconsin, Michigan, Maine, Iowa, Montana, Virginia, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Georgia. This program utilized robust field, mail and digital investments to make nearly 16 million voter contact attempts. The program engaged voters who were persuadable based on a family economic message that emphasized the care issues families struggle with on a daily basis, including paid family and medical leave and affordable elder and childcare.
